CDC on Alcohol Concentration
Alcohols are rapidly bactericidal rather than bacteriostatic against vegetative forms of bacteria; they are tuberculocidal, fungicidal, and virucidal but do not destroy bacterial spores. Their cidal activity drops sharply when diluted below 50% concentration, and the optimum bactericidal concentration is 60%–90% solutions in water as per CDC Guideline, 2008.

Microkleen SPL

Surface and environmental disinfectant and cleaner
Microkleen SPL is supplied as a concentrate. Prepare use – solutions with cold water. Completely wet the washable surface (e. g. floors) with an adequate amount of solution.
Areas of Application

High Risk Areas :- ICU, ICCU, Oncology Dept., OT, Minor OT Trauma Care, AKD, Neo – Natal Dept., Pharmaceutical Sterile Sections etc. Wet, Mop over all critical areas & surface,

Non Critical Areas : Ward, Corridors, OPDs, Clinics, Mobile Units, Laboratories, Dental Clinics, etc. in-between Cases, for Emergency Disinfections. Add 25ml. to 50ml. of Microkleen SPL to 10 Litre (2/3 bucket) of tap water to get 0.25% to 0.5% solution.

  • Spray or mop Microkleen SPL on exposed surfaces, keeping wet for 10-20 mins for optimum results.
  • Microkleen SPL can be used in Fogging Care Machine when used in 1% or less than 1% dilution.

Mode of Application

General Purpose Cleaner-Disinfectant

Directions For Use

To Clean / Deodorize. Wipe off with a clean cloth or sponge.

To Clean Soap Scum : Allow product to sit 15-20 seconds to penetrate soil before wiping clean. Repeat if necessary.

To Control and Prevent the Growth of Mold & Mildew : Apply to pre-cleaned Surface. Let surface remain wet for 3 minutes before wiping. Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mold and mildew growth appears. Rinse all surface that come in contact with food with potable water before reuse. Rinse bathtub / shower surface with water after using product. Does not harm most restroom surfaces.

Directions For Use
To prepare 1% solution
Using the above table :- Take a required volume of lukewarm water. Add appropriate quantity of virokleen powder. Mix the solution. Allow the powder to dissolve until the solution turns clear pink in color. Discard soultion either once the color is lost, or after 7 days from date of preparation.
